BSB will also headline Good Morning America Concert Series this summer
Nineties nostalgia continues as the Backstreet Boys announce they have signed with RCA Records and have released their electric new single âDonât Go Breaking My Heart” and music video directed by long time BSB collaborators Rich + Tone. The announcement comes on the heels the boy band’s 25th anniversary.
âThe minute we heard this song we knew it was special,â says Kevin Richardson. âI geeked out over the piano and synths. When that groove drops on the second verse, COME ON! Great verse, hook and melodies. Just makes you wanna listen over and over again.â
In support the new single, BSB will return to the Good Morning America Summer Concert Series in New Yorkâs Central Park on July 13th. The group will also perform at a series summer radio shows like this yearâs KIIS FM Wango Tango before returning to their record-breaking Backstreet Boys: Larger Than Life Las Vegas residency.
Recorded immediately after the first leg their highly successful Las Vegas residency, âDonât Go Breaking My Heartâ has the energy a group who had a remarkable year and who channeled their excitement into a new song that hits harder and funkier than ever before.
Itâs hard not to think the group’s latest activities didnât shape this track. Whether it’s the creative relationship with Florida Georgia Line that earned BSB their first No. 1 country radio single; working with a variety new and young producers; thereâs an undeniable energy and creativity surrounding the Backstreet Boys and âDonât Go Breaking My Heartâ is an extraordinary new track from a group who continues to impress 25 years into their storied career.
âWeâve been working our ass f for 25 years,â says AJ McLean âand with the support RCA and our contemporaries, we know weâll be performing for fans, both old and new, for a really long time. It feels like weâre just getting started.â
