Nineties country hitmaker Daryle Singletary has died at the age 46, The Music Universe has confirmed. The Cairo, Georgia passed away suddenly and unexpectedly this morning (Mon, Feb 12th) at his home in Nashville from undisclosed causes. However, reports indicate that Singletary died from a blood clot.
News began running rampant earlier today about Singletary’s passing. SiriusXM’s The Highway confirmed the news a tweet about an hour ago, stating “This is SiriusXM Music News with breaking news. It has been confirmed to us that Daryle Singletary has died at the age 46. More information coming soon.”
As this writing, Singletary’s website and social media pages have yet to confirm the news. His booking agency, McAlphin Entertainment, did confirm the news Facebook. “Completely heartbroken to learn the passing our friend Daryle Singletary this morning. He was one the best men we’ve had the privilege to meet and work with in this business, both pressionally and personally. Please keep Daryle’s wife, Holly and their four young children in your prayers.”
Singletary just kicked f his 2018 tour on Friday in Alabama and performed in Louisiana on Saturday.. The singer released his self-titled debut album on Giant Records in 1995 featuring two Top 5 singles, “I Let Her Lie” and “Too Much Fun.” The singer also released three other Top 40 hits, including “Amen Kind Of Love.”
