Gryffin has come a long way since his days of racking up millions of SoundCloud plays on his indie dance remixes of Tove Lo, Years & Years, BANKs, and others. Earlier this year, the LA-based outfit made a major career transition when he released his first original “Heading Home” and went on to debut his live show via his own headlining tour. Back with his sophomore original release, he teams up with UK vocalist Bipolar Sunshine for a heart-wrenching collaboration titled “Whole Heart.”
For fans of both artists, many will remember when Gryffin flipped Bipolar’s own “Daydreamer” into an upbeat, house favorite. Their debut collaboration, however, digs even deeper. A true synthesis of indie and electronic elements bound by raw emotion, “Whole Heart” is a definitive example of Gryffin’s artistic maturity.
